The web disk is not enabled by default. Ask Richard if you want to use this feature.

A web disk acts like a share area. This share area can be used to share documents across the internet with others who have the username / password.

The content of your web disk can be accessed by viewing https://centos6.whm-secure.com:2078 in your browser.  Note: you will not be able to edit the contents of the web-disk if you use this method.

If you set up a network connection as detailed below, you will create a folder on your desk-top, which you can read  / write to like any other folder on your computer.

Windows 10

  1. Open the Start Menu and then Windows Explorer.
  2. Click Computer in the left pane, then right-click in the right pane and select Add a Network Location.
  3. Click Next on the Welcome to the Add Network Location Wizard.
  4. On the next screen, click “Choose a custom network location”.
  5. Enter the following in the Internet or network address field
    https://centos6.whm-secure.com:2078
  6. Click Next. Enter your Web Disk username and password when the system prompts you.
  7. In the Type a name for this network location field, enter a name that will be easy for you to remember and click Next.
  8. To access the Web Disk right way, verify that the Open this network location when I click Finish checkbox is filled.
